DCS Varèse Exclusive Irish Launch

In association with Absolute Sounds, Cloney Audio is delighted to launch the state-of-the-art DCS Varèse digital playback system.
Attendees will not only get to experience Varèse, but also hear some of the finest audio components on the planet – across two systems, analogue and digital.

Room One

The Varèse system includes the Core, User Interface, Mono DACs and Clock, all incorporating radical improvements on DCS’s core technologies such as the Ring Dac. In fact, we are hosting several Irish debuts at our event. We are offering listeners an opportunity to hear Varèse express its full colours through the Dan D’Agostino Relentless 1600 power amps (yes, 1,600 watts per channel into 8 ohms!) and their matching Relentless Preamp. Giving voice to the Varèse/Relentless will be the magnificent Wilson Audio Alexx V loudspeakers in exclusive Biarritz White finish.
Mains and signal cabling for the system will be come from Transparent Audio.

Room Two

Analogue lovers have some brand new sounds to experience. The Devore Fidelity 096 has a very strong following in Ireland, so we are delighted to feature the new Devore Fidelity O Bronze, which features the tweeter used in Devore’s O Reference, along with a new bronze chassis bass/midrange unit and reflex port. The Bronze continues high sensitivity figure of 96 dB, which makes it a perfect match for the Trafomatic Rapsody amplifier and Evolution phono stage. As a source, we are featuring another Irish debut – for the Techdas Air Force V Premium turntable – we will have further updates about the arm and cartridge soon.

Cables are provided by the Dutch brand Ikigai’s Sugure line.

In this system, we will also have the DCS Rossini Apex player on hand for digital playback.
