Spendor, Tellurium Q & Lavardin event at Blackrock Cellar
Drop by on Saturday, November 3rd (10am-6pm) and Sunday November 4th (12.30pm-6pm)
We are pleased to welcome you to our first event at Blackrock Cellar – just five minutes walk from our showrooms, opposite Blackrock Shopping Centre and next door to Starbucks.
Mike from Spendor will present a selection of Spendor’s superb speakers including the multi award winning D7 model in addition to the recently released A7 – itself the winner of a glowing 5 star review from Hi-Fi Choice magazine.
And the event would not be complete without something from Spendor’s Classic range!
Nowadays everybody knows the importance of cables as an integral part of any decent quality music system likewise everyone who reads the world’s Hi-Fi press will have noticed the incredible rise to fame of Tellurium Q cables.
Geoff Merrigan from Tellurium Q will be on hand to demonstrate just how good these exceptional cables sound – or rather getting out of the way and allowing you, the listener, to enjoy the music as intended: providing a solid realistic musical presentation – far removed from many alternative cables (including some very expensive ones!).
Models from the new X range of amplifiers from Lavardin will be used for this presentation. New products from Lavardin are a rare event - their predecessors were around for about 20 years!
In fact, when the new X range were released Lavardin had to continue offering the outgoing models for a time in order to convince existing customers the new amplifiers were really better sounding.
Well, they need not have worried - the new amps are better with even the entry level ISx performing superbly - some would say sounding even better than the original IT!
Lavardin amplifiers work very well with most speakers - and especially so with Spendors, as you’ll be witnessing at this demonstration :)
We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible at the event and we will do all possible to make this a very enjoyable weekend. Light refreshments will be served and as we will be in an off license – a drop or two of wine might just appear!
As always, admission is free – please note the times Saturday 10am-6pm and Sunday 12.30pm-6pm.
