Cinema Showroom Remastered

We don't believe that the process of choosing the right cinema system for your home should be complex, nor should it require vast technical knowledge on the part of a customer. Anyone can tell a good picture from a mediocre one, or an excellent one as opposed to good. The same goes for the sound quality. All you need is a wide choice and the ability to compare at ease.

Our redesigned show room allows you to do just that. It has been fully automated so now, at the touch of a button, you can switch from one component to another and compare the performance of different DVD players, AV receivers and speakers. We have made sure that the selection on offer includes the best possible components to suit all price ranges.

All you really have to do is to compare & choose the one you like best...

Plasma Screens
Plasma display technology offers higher resolution (in comparison to most conventional TV sets), smooth evenly lit image (without scan lines), exceptional color accuracy (up to 16 billion colors), a perfectly flat screen (eliminating edge distortions) & uniform screen brightness. And if you take into account its slim space-saving design and wide viewing angle of 160 degrees – it clearly makes it a prime choice for any Home Cinema setup.

In our showrooms all AV products can be demonstrated on the Panasonic, Pioneer or Sony plasma screens.

AV Components
Ever wondered what is the actual difference in performance between different DVD players or whether there is a tangible difference in picture/sound quality between different price ranges? Well, wonder no more. Just select the desired DVD player on our touch-screen panel and see/hear for yourself. We have selection of DVD players from Yamaha, Pioneer, Sony, Rotel and Arcam to take on your challenge. Most models stocked are multi-region - in other words they will play discs sourced from other countries including America. Prices start from 250 euro upwards.

NOTE: Better quality DVD players do outperform cheaper machines on video and sound quality - sometimes by a surprising degree. Some of them are also very good for CD sound reproduction as well as DVD Audio and sometimes SACD - arrange demonstration to see this for yourself.

Speakers
The selection of speaker options is also extensive. We have been distributors for Bowers and Wilkins in Ireland since 1968. B&W as they are better known make a wide range of speakers including some of the most highly regarded products on the market today (such as the Nautilus range which are widely used for professional monitoring). In fact, the famous Abbey Road Studios in London have a full Nautilus 5.1 setup. B&W models include the compact LM and VM models with matching sub woofers, custom installation models, the new 700 series and popular 600 series which are all available for demonstration.

System Audio from Denmark make a superb range of speakers which sound great as well as look really good, including slim floorstanding models (the same width as a CD cover). System Audio speakers are available in a range of real wood finishes to suit any decor and are surprisingly affordable.

Those who do not want to see any speakers in the room but insist on quality sound should consider Morel speakers - literally the size of the tennis ball.

Again, all these can be selectively test-driven while trying different AV components.

Accessories
We can also advise you on how further you can improve image and sound quality by using different interconnects, power and speaker cables

Crestron
As we have mentioned already our AV show room is completely controlled using a Crestron home automation solution - you can stay in your seat and swap between different AV setups, display formats (composite, component or S-video) and more at the touch of a button!

We are constantly upgrading our premises to demonstrate the full potential of Crestron automation solutions.
